Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Business Development Executive to manage Independent Retail across the Northern Rivers, from Ocean Shores to Evans Head, with occasional travel to Tenterfield. You will build retailer relationships, drive sales and ensure top in-store execution.

This hands-on field role covers liquor and grocery, blending commercial conversations with practical merchandising, displays, and store relays.

Qualifications

• Sales or retail experience in FMCG, grocery or liquor.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building capability.
• Self-directed, able to work independently.
• Ability to travel across the territory with a valid driver’s licence.
• Based in or near Byron Bay, Ballina, or Lismore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer relationships across the Northern Rivers territory.
• Drive sales, distribution, availability and in-store execution across the portfolio.
• Plan and complete an effective call cycle of approximately five customer visits per day.
• Build displays, support store relays and complete hands-on merchandising activity.
• Plan territory travel efficiently, including occasional extended regional coverage.
• Work independently in the field while staying connected with the broader sales team.
