Find A Babysitter in Griffith, ACT is seeking a caring nanny to support a busy family of five after school. Three kids aged 9, 7 and 5 are friendly and well behaved.

The role offers Monday and Wednesday afternoons during school terms, from 3pm to about 6pm, with potential for additional days during travel periods. You will need a full, clean driver’s license and a current Working With Children Check, plus a patient, responsible approach with children.

Hello! We are a family of five based in Griffith, ACT looking for an extra pair of hands to help us cover the busy afternoon period. We have three kids, aged 9, 7 and 5. They are quick to make friends and are enjoyable company. Our current much loved nanny is moving interstate, so we are again looking for a nanny to help us.

We are looking for someone who has their full, clean drivers license, a current Working With Children Check, and is good with children, along with the highest levels of responsibility.

Days:

Monday & Wednesday afternoons - during school terms only.

Hours:

3pm to approximately 6pm.

School holidays:

There is no requirement for you to be available in the primary school holidays, but we may come to a mutual agreement on some days of work.

Responsibilities include:

• School/preschool pickups in your car - we have carseats (or school/preschool are within walking distance)


• Afternoon supervision, including helping with reading, spelling homework etc.


• Making/cleaning up after afternoon tea


• Making dinner for the kids


• Tidying up the kitchen after dinner.

In addition:

When either of us travels (for 1-2 weeks at a time) there may be the option for more days/increased hours, and we are happy to discuss this flexibility with the applicant.

Occasional evening babysitting is also available.
