Job summary

Brisbane Grammar School is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support the Food Service Manager and ensure the tuckshop operates smoothly during term time.

You will promote the P&F Auxiliary to parents, assist with stock management, tills, and kitchen tasks, maintain high food hygiene standards, and participate in safety trainings. Blue Card eligibility is required, and staff training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to hold a Blue Card.
• Must complete Queensland Food Handling Safety course.
• Excellent customer service to adults and children.
• Term-time role; 37 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Promote the P&F Auxiliary to parents.
• Maintain stock levels and stock rotation.
• Lunch cover for tills.
• Organising stock in fridge/freezers.
• End of day shutdown for tills and serving area.
• Other duties as delegated by Manager.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
