Job summary

LifeHealthcare in Australia and New Zealand seeks an experienced Tenders & Contracts Team Leader to guide a high‑performing team, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.

Based in Macquarie Park, this permanent leadership role collaborates with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Customer Service to win new business, support retention and drive commercial excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender management, contracts, commercial operations or excellence.
• Proven leadership with coaching and development能力.
• Experience in Medical Devices, MedTech, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of public and private healthcare procurement and tender processes.
• Excellent commercial and analytical skills with ability to derive insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multiple functions.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools experience (Power BI).
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.

We're seeking an experienced Tenders & Contracts Team Leader to lead a high-performing team responsible for managing tender submissions, contract governance, and commercial insights across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Macquarie Park, this permanent leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Working closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Customer Service teams, you'll play a critical role in securing new business, supporting customer retention, and driving commercial excellence across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead & develop the Tenders & Contracts team, fostering a culture of collaboration & accountability.
• Oversee the end-to-end preparation and submission of public and private healthcare tenders across ANZ.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including implementation, renewals, variations and contract governance.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities, manage contractual risk & support pricing strategies.

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and data governance across commercial operations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare procurement requirements, company policies and industry regulations.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in tender management, contracts, commercial operations or commercial excellence.
• Previous leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Experience within Medical Devices, MedTech, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of public and private healthcare procurement and tender processes.
• Excellent commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities across multiple business functions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
