Position Descriptor: The Nurture Group Teacher leads the day-to-day delivery of an in-school, teacher-led psychosocial intervention for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Working alongside a second nurture practitioner, the teacher provides a consistent, predictable and emotionally containing environment founded on attachment theory and the Six Principles of Nurture, while maintaining strong links with mainstream classes to support children's continued participation in whole-school life and their eventual full-time reintegration.

1. 1. "Tell us about a time you worked with a child who was hypervigilant, dysregulated, or disengaged from learning. What did you do to help them return to a settled, 'ready to learn' state, and how did you draw on your understanding of attachment theory or trauma-informed practice?"
2. 2. "This role involves working in a close co-teaching partnership with a second nurture educator, while also maintaining strong links with mainstream class teachers to support a child's eventual reintegration. Can you describe how you'd build and manage these relationships, and how you'd handle a situation where you and a colleague disagreed on a student's readiness to reintegrate?"
3. 3. "How do you go about tracking and demonstrating a student's progress over time - socially, emotionally and behaviourally - and how do you use that evidence to inform your planning and decision-making?"
