Job summary

Port Noarlunga Primary School is seeking an Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO) to support Aboriginal children and young people to engage, learn and thrive at school. The ACEO builds relationships between school, Aboriginal students, families, and the community, and supports culturally responsive approaches across the site.

The role is based at Port Noarlunga Primary School, with a 12-hour-per-week roster and potential for part-time or flexible arrangements.

• Ability to build positive relationships with families and staff.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive approaches to learning.

The Aboriginal Community Education Officer Will

Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
