Job summary

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) seeks a proactive Project Officer to join the Workforce Strategy team in a short-term, high-impact role in Canberra. You will provide high-level administrative and project support across workforce planning, design and reform initiatives, coordinating meetings, workshops and consultation activities, and maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• Experience providing administrative or project support with strong organisational, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, prepare accurate documents and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Interest in human resources or workforce projects is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative and project support across workforce planning, organisational design and reform initiatives; coordinate meetings, workshops and consultation activities; prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other workforce documents; maintain accurate project, governance and workforce records.
• Help keep projects on track by maintaining plans, monitoring milestones, following up actions and supporting implementation activities; assist with gathering and presenting workforce information; coordinate stakeholder communications and provide day-to-day support to ensure priorities are delivered efficiently.
