Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Telepower Design Supervisor to join our long-standing partnership with Telstra and drive critical telepower projects across Queensland. Based in Stapylton, this hybrid role leads a design team and collaborates with major telecommunications stakeholders to deliver essential infrastructure.

You will oversee technical delivery, mentor designers, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality documentation while supporting continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams in telecom/telepower environments.
• Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical trade background.
• Strong telepower design and project delivery understanding.
• Proven stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Excel expertise highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate work across a team of designers and project coordinators.
• Act as the key technical escalation point for telepower design activities.
• Review, approve and oversee the delivery of high quality design documentation.
• Liaise with clients and delivery partners while providing regional reporting.
• Monitor project schedules, workloads and design performance to meet delivery targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and design delivery.
