We seek compassionate Medical Practitioners to conduct telehealth consultations, assess patient needs, create treatment plans, and coordinate referrals within a robust clinical governance framework.

In this role you will prescribe where appropriate, maintain records, and monitor patient progress in a flexible telehealth environment,

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration and eligibility to practise medicine in Australia.
• Experience conducting independent medical consultations via telehealth.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning capabilities.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
• Solid understanding of Australian prescribing and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to use telehealth and digital health platforms.
• Patient-first, evidence-based approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth consultations and clinical assessments.
• Develop personalised treatment plans and provide medical advice.
• Prescribe medications in line with Australian regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up consultations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Identify when escalation or additional investigations are required.
• Uphold high standards of patient safety, ethics and governance.
