Placements24 is seeking a Telecoms Network Field Technician to join the team in Queenstown. This hands-on role covers the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment at customer sites and company facilities, ensuring reliable network services and on-site support for clients in the Eastern Cape region.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of field service experience, basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Ethernet), and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in telecommunications or networking are a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a field service or technical support role within the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP and Ethernet.
• Experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in telecommunications installation and repair.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are essential for travel in the Queenstown area.

Responsibilities
