Job summary

EzyMart Distribution Pty Ltd is seeking a Telecommunications Technical Officer to support our telecommunications, network and communications infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining systems, testing equipment and ensuring reliable connectivity across the distribution operations.

The candidate should have at least one year of relevant experience and a strong foundation in telecoms, networking and system integration.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in telecommunications, IT or related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in telecoms or network environments.
• Strong knowledge of telecoms, networking and communications infrastructure.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting equipment.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with vendors, suppliers and external service providers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with documentation discipline.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain telecommunications and network systems.
• Install, test and maintain network and communications equipment.
• Monitor network performance and resolve technical issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network, communication and connectivity problems.
• Configure and connect network systems with computers and business systems.
• Assist with network requirements for automated distribution and conveyors.
• Support integration of MYOB and Evexso with the network.
• Select and configure suitable hardware, software and equipment.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of telecom and network systems.
• Provide technical advice and support to staff as needed.
• Maintain equipment records, documents and system information.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and maintain services.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of the network and implement improvements.

• Set up, configure and maintain telecommunications and network systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot network, communication and connectivity problems.
• Configure and connect network systems with computers, software and business systems.
• Assist with network requirements for automated distribution and conveyor systems.
• Support the integration and connectivity of business systems such as MYOB and Evexso with the company's network.
• Select and configure suitable hardware, software and network equipment.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of telecommunications and network systems.
• Provide technical advice and support to staff when required.
• Maintain equipment records, technical documents and system information.
• Work with vendors, suppliers and external service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain services.

Skills and Qualifications
