Job summary

Capgemini Australia in Sydney is seeking a seasoned network engineer to design, implement and troubleshoot IP-based telecom networks. You’ll work across data centres, security platforms and telco-grade firewalls while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver robust connectivity.

The role rewards hands-on problem solving, CCNA/CCIE credentials, and deep knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN and data center fabrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or related field.
• Cisco CCIE/CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly valued.
• Strong understanding of IP protocols (OSPF, BGP) and networking concepts.
• Experience designing telecom network architectures, IP-based mobile core networks.
• Familiarity with data centre fabric technologies including ACI and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Design and configuration of telco grade firewalls and security policy management.
