Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and secure IP networks for telecom domains. Responsibilities include device configuration, security, troubleshooting, and documenting configurations.

You will collaborate with IT professionals and stakeholders to meet network requirements. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in CS/telecom/engineering, Cisco certifications, and strong knowledge of IP protocols and data center fabrics (ACI, EVPN-VXLAN).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/telecommunications/engineering.
• Cisco certifications (CCIE/CCNA/CCNP) are highly valued.
• Strong understanding of IP protocols (OSPF, BGP) and telecom IP networks.
• Experience with data center fabrics (ACI, EVPN-VXLAN).
• Ability to design and implement telco-grade network architectures.
• Knowledge of firewall configuration and security policy management.

Responsibilities

• IP Address Management: auditing and allocation of IPs.
• Network Performance Monitoring and optimization.
• Network Upgrades and Maintenance per design changes.
• Security measures for network infrastructure and data.
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution; documentation.
