Job summary

Public Sector People is seeking a Project Manager - NBN & Telco for the Council to oversee a portfolio of site infrastructure projects delivered by telco carriers such as Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

You will manage telecom leases, negotiate with carriers, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure community consultation complies with the Local Government Act. This role requires strong project management and telecom compliance expertise.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Schedule 3 of the Telecommunication Act 1997 in respect to use of community land
• Understand Transport and Infrastructure SEPP and planning guidelines for telecom facilities
• Negotiate telecom leases with carrier leasing representatives
• Manage telecommunications lease administration for Council
• Coordinate site delivery by Telco carriers and internal departments
• Conduct community consultation for site delivery
• Lease/License of Council land under Local Government Act
