Job summary

West Technology is actively seeking a Domain Architect to lead architecture across telecommunications, network and infrastructure, spanning on-premises, cloud, and OT platforms. You will develop domain strategies and roadmaps while guiding projects through concept to delivery, ensuring security, resilience and alignment with business goals.

You will collaborate with Technology, Security, Engineering and Operations teams to translate requirements into practical solutions and drive technology

Qualifications

• Experience creating domain strategies and target-state architectures for complex environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical architecture solutions.
• Familiarity with telecoms, network and infrastructure technologies and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current, transition and target-state architectures and domain roadmaps.
• Provide architecture leadership across telecommunications, connectivity, network and infrastructure environments.
• Lead or contribute to solution architecture across relevant technology initiatives.
• Translate business, operational and technical requirements into practical architecture solutions.
• Provide architecture guidance and assurance from concept through to implementation.
• Support the integration and evolution of legacy and contemporary technologies.
• Embed cyber security, resilience, recoverability and continuity requirements into architecture decisions.
• Provide architecture input into business cases, sourcing strategies, procurement and vendor evaluations.
• Work closely with Technology, Security, Engineering, Network Operations and delivery teams.
