Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Technology Risk Advisor to partner with IT leaders to strengthen how technology risks are managed and decisions are made. Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 operational or technology risk and compliance role, or a Line 3 internal audit role, preferably within banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with technology leaders and teams to support risk-informed decision-making and promote proactive management of technology risks.
• Provide subject matter expertise, coaching, guidance and pragmatic risk advice to uplift risk management practices across the IT Department.
• Identify, assess and manage material technology risks and design/assess controls to effectively manage those risks.
• Support development and maintenance of the IT Department risk profile and risk reporting for governance forums.
• Support the remediation of technology-related risk issues and incidents and help develop sustainable action plans.
