Job summary

Victoria Police is recruiting for a warehouse and inventory role in Collingwood to manage receipt, storage, distribution and disposal of inventory and support hardware provisioning. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly, while aligning with CIUT objectives and ensuring accurate records across multiple applications.

The role is warehouse-based with limited remote work, and flexible working options are available to support a safe and inclusive workplace

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in warehousing/distribution.
• Proven ability to operate inventory computerized systems and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Experience defining and improving process to optimise value and minimise downtime.
• Ability to cultivate productive working relationships, facilitate cooperation and partnerships.
• Exemplify personal drive, integrity and show personal courage.
• Communicate with influence and negotiate persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, storage, distribution, and disposal of inventory.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Configuring computer hardware (including operational specific devices).
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems.
• Maintaining accurate records across multiple applications.
• Coordinating troubleshooting, support, and service for equipment when necessary.
• Maintaining familiarity with current and upcoming ICT equipment.
• Upholding a sense of customer service and measures client satisfaction.
