Job summary

Focus Partners Australia is seeking a Technology Delivery Lead to guide technology, data and AI projects from planning to landed outcomes. This autonomous role blends delivery leadership with business analysis, partnering with the Head of Technology and Data to ensure value is realized from day one.

You will establish lean governance, manage risk, coordinate vendors, and drive adoption across accounting, credit and wealth service lines, delivering measurable benefits while keeping stakeholders

Qualifications

• 8+ years in delivery, PM or hybrid BA/delivery role.
• Experience delivering technology or process projects end to end.
• Strong business analysis including requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Experience coordinating external delivery partners and vendors.
• Experience with delivery artefacts (project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reporting).
• Exposure to advisory, accounting or credit processes is a plus.
• Relevant certifications desirable but practical delivery track record matters most.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technology, data and AI projects across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, from planning through to a landed, adopted outcome.
• Build and maintain clear, practical project plans with milestones, owners, dependencies and delivery dates.
• Run a consistent delivery rhythm, including working sessions, status updates, risk management and stakeholder reporting.
• Apply lean, fit for purpose governance rather than heavy process, with clear owner, plan, dependencies, RACI and landing tracking.
• Capture and document business requirements by working directly with teams across the service lines.
• Map current state and future state processes, identify pain points and opportunities to improve, automate or simplify.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for internal and vendor build.
• Own artefacts that keep delivery on track: RAID log, decision log, action tracker, dependencies and status reporting.
• Plan and coordinate UAT, including test planning, testers coordination, defect tracking and sign-off.
• Track benefits and outcomes so we can show the value each initiative delivers.
• Maintain a view of the project roadmap and dependencies across the portfolio.
• Coordinate specialist delivery partners through their scope of work and ensure quality.
• Support SoW definition, review of deliverables and vendor governance.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and keep them informed and engaged throughout delivery.
• Partner with Operations on change management and adoption, supporting the change lead.
• Support training and adoption activities so solutions are used and value is realized.
