Job summary

Talenza in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Technology Auditor to support delivering high-quality internal audits focused on technology governance, risk, and controls across cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems and data.

You will lead end-to-end audits, perform controls testing (ITGCs and application controls), identify weaknesses, produce actionable findings, and collaborate with technology and data leaders to close gaps and strengthen resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Experience auditing technology/infrastructure/cybersecurity/data/transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; written reporting is important.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader audit team.
• Certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CA or CPA (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology internal audits (planning, testing, documentation).
• Perform controls assessment and testing across IT General Controls, application controls, cyber, infrastructure, data integrity and change delivery.
• Manage multiple audits concurrently to meet timelines and quality.
• Identify control weaknesses and risks across technology and information security domains.
• Produce clear, pragmatic, risk-based findings and recommendations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across technology and data leadership.
• Track audit actions and verify closure with root cause remediation.
