Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Audit to lead a strategic, risk-based IT audit portfolio and deliver independent assurance over critical technology risks and controls.

You will partner with senior technology, risk and business stakeholders to assess design and effectiveness of controls, uplift capabilities, and innovate in technology-enabled auditing across cyber security, cloud, resilience and data management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading risk-based IT audits and technology assurance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, identity and access management, cloud technologies, infrastructure and data management.
• Advanced understanding of internal audit standards, methodologies and quality assurance requirements.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a risk-based IT audit portfolio aligned to strategic priorities.
• Lead complex technology audits from planning to reporting and issue validation.
• Provide independent assurance across cyber security, cloud, resilience, infrastructure and data management.
• Identify emerging risks and provide practical recommendations to strengthen controls.
• Lead and develop a high-performing audit team through coaching and performance feedback.
• Promote data analytics and tech-enabled audit techniques to enhance coverage.
