Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Audit to lead a risk-based IT audit portfolio across technology, cyber security, cloud and data management. You will partner with senior stakeholders to assess technology risks, provide independent assurance and drive improvements in audit capability and methodology.

The role involves coaching a high-performing team, applying data analytics techniques, and delivering clear audit reports and committee papers to support senior leadership

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading risk-based IT audits and technology assurance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, cloud, resilience, infrastructure and data management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver a risk-based IT audit portfolio aligned to priorities.
• Lead complex technology audits from planning to reporting and issue validation.
• Provide independent assurance across cyber security, cloud, resilience, infrastructure, apps, data management and third-party tech.
• Identify emerging risks and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• Prepare audit reports, executive briefings and committee papers that communicate complex topics clearly.
• Lead and develop a high-performing audit team through coaching and performance feedback.
• Promote data analytics and tech-enabled audit techniques to enhance quality and coverage.
• Contribute to methodology, quality frameworks and strategic planning.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
