Cummins Inc. in Carole Park, QLD is seeking a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing workshop team.

You will complete repairs and rebuilds on heavy diesel engines across market segments in a service environment. Under supervision you will diagnose, disassemble, inspect and rebuild engines, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (Australian standards).
• Experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Be a team player and adhere to Cummins Policies.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report issues to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
• Diagnose and repair engines.
• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.

• Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential.

• Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities

• Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies

• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly + shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary,
