Job summary

Concentis is partnering with a company within the energy sector to source motivated Electrical Technicians for a Gladstone solar farm. You will work under the Lead Technician, contributing to safe, efficient operations of the site’s solar infrastructure and support Australia’s transition to clean energy.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in electrical or equivalent technical training.
• Previous experience in renewable energy, power generation, or electrical maintenance is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical components.
• Support safe operational procedures including high voltage switching under supervision.
• Work alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
• Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating roster.
• Contribute to the accurate completion of work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workshop environment.
• Help monitor inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumables.

You will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician, contributing to the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of the site’s solar infrastructure, and have a real impact on clean energy delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical components

About You:

• Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantage
• HV Electrical Switching certificate or ability to obtain
• Working knowledge of installation, maintenance and instrumentation systems
