Johnson Controls in Brisbane seeks an experienced Chiller Technician to join our service team. You’ll work on a range of commercial and industrial sites, delivering technical expertise with a high level of autonomy and strong team support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience servicing HVAC, chiller, or industrial cooling systems.
• Strong maintenance, repair, and fault‑finding capabilities.
• Mechanical and/or electrical trade expertise within HVAC.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Current Australian driver's licence and ability to pass pre‑employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance.
• Commission chillers and HVAC equipment across customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues.
• Conduct overhauls and fault‑finding on reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal chillers.
• Complete service documentation and technical reports accurately.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical advice.
• Support customers with operational guidance and system optimization.

About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth across Queensland, we're looking for an experienced Chiller Technician to join our Brisbane Service Team.

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites, providing technical expertise across some of Australia's most advanced HVAC and chiller systems. You'll enjoy a high level of autonomy while being supported by an experienced team committed to your success.

What You’ll Be Doing
