Rockingham Hyundai, part of Eagers Automotive, is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join our service department in Rockingham. This full-time, hands-on role covers servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm, with opportunities for overtime and career development through our Learning Together program. We offer a competitive hourly rate, commission, and employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualified with Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Aircon certification desirable.
• Confident with diagnostics and fault finding.
• Willingness to learn and work across makes/models.
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights.

Aufgaben

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, roadworthy and warranty work
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and fix faults
• Accurately record all work completed and parts used
• Work closely with the service and parts teams to keep jobs moving
• Working in a collaborative team, supporting technicians and apprentices

About the Role

Rockingham Hyundai are looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join dynamic Service Department. This full time, hands on, workshop-based role involves servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles. What you will be doing:

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, roadworthy and warranty work
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and fix faults
• Accurately record all work completed and parts used
• Work closely with the service and parts teams to keep jobs moving
• Working in a collaborative team, supporting technicians and apprentices

Skills & Experience:

• Trade qualified (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Aircon certification desirable.
• Dealership or manufacturer training is a bonus
• Confident with diagnostics and fault finding
• Willingness to learn and work across a variety of makes and models
• Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
• Current driver’s licence
