Job summary

Motors Hyundai Devonport, part of Eagers Automotive Limited, is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join a high-performing workshop team. This full-time role offers modern facilities, consistent workflow, and access to ongoing Hyundai manufacturer training.

You will complete scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, document work and parts, and mentor junior technicians in a supportive environment. Career progression within Australia’s largest automotive retailer is available.

Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
• Previous dealership experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic.
• Current driver's licence and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Carry out vehicle inspections, warranty repairs, and manufacturer-approved work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions.
• Accurately document work completed, parts used, and repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts teams to ensure an efficient workshop operation.
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
