Job summary

Rockingham Hyundai, part of Eagers Automotive, is recruiting an Automotive Technician to join their service department in a full-time, workshop-based role. You will service, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, using dealership diagnostic tools and following workshop procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy in recording work, teamwork with service and parts colleagues, and mentoring apprentices in a growth-driven environment. A safety-first attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with diagnostics and fault finding is a bonus.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple makes/models.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete servicing, repairs and diagnostics.
• Carry out inspections, roadworthy and warranty work.
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Record work and parts used accurately.
• Collaborate with service and parts teams to keep jobs moving.

Rockingham Hyundai are looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join dynamic Service Department. This full time, hands on, workshop-based role involves servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles. Joining a hardworking team, this opportunity is ideal for a technician who wants steady, secure work in a professional, growth driven environment.

What you will be doing:

• Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Carry out vehicle inspections, roadworthy and warranty work
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and fix faults
• Accurately record all work completed and parts used
• Work closely with the service and parts teams to keep jobs moving
• Working in a collaborative team, supporting technicians and apprentices
