Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to work in our workshop and on-site environments, unsupervised when needed, and to comply with company policies. You will promote our services and maintain documentation in line with quality standards.

Candidates must be tradesmen or fourth-year apprentices with a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and Construction (White) Card. Willingness to travel, work shifts, weekends, and in remote locations is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in working unsupervised in workshop and on-site settings.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Capable of maintaining accurate documentation per quality standards (AS/NZS ISO 9001).
• Able to support teammates and operate in a team environment.

Requirements

• Fitter and Turner, Fitter Machinist (Tradesmen or 4th Year Apprentice)
• Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time
• Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License
• Must hold a Construction (White) Card
• Ability to work shiftwork, weekends and Public Holidays as required
• Ability to work in remote locations
• Ability to climb ladders up to 50 meters
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and work to deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
