Job summary

RAC WA is expanding its Joondalup Service Centre and invites skilled automotive technicians to join the team in a modern, air-conditioned workshop with free onsite parking and your own dedicated work bay.

You will work on scheduled service and repairs of light vehicles, perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, document progress, and mentor apprentices. The role offers guaranteed hours, overtime opportunities, bonuses, and RAC employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship and hold trade qualification in automotive industry.
• C Class drivers’ licence.
• Experience in workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
• Confident diagnostics in service and repairs.
• Ability to communicate clearly to team and members.

Responsibilities

• Working in your own dedicated bay
• Scheduled service and repair various types of light vehicles
• Mechanical and electrical diagnostics
• Log and record daily activities and work progress
• Mentor and guide apprentices
• Repair breakdown vehicles towed into centre

Skills
