Job summary

Royal Automobile Club of WA Inc. is expanding its Joondalup Service Centre and seeking skilled automotive technicians.

You will work in your own dedicated bay on scheduled service and repairs of light vehicles, performing mechanical and electrical diagnostics and recording daily progress. We value a completed automotive apprenticeship with a trade qualification, a valid C class licence, and experience in workshop or mobile settings.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship and hold trade qualification in automotive industry.
• C Class driving licence is required.
• Experience in workshop or mobile mechanic environment is preferred.
• Confident diagnostics in service and repairs and ability to communicate clearly to team.

Responsibilities

• Work in your own dedicated bay on scheduled service and repairs of light vehicles.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to identify faults.
• Log daily activities and progress of each job.
• Mentor and guide apprentices in the workshop.
• Repair breakdown vehicles towed into the centre.
