Saab Australia is seeking a Technician to join our Engineering & Sustainment Services group, contributing to navigation system integration on naval platforms. You will be part of the Test and Commissioning Team, delivering high-quality, timely solutions and supporting offshore deployment when required.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III or equivalent in Engineering/Electronics, may need a relevant electrical license, and must be eligible for NV1 clearance.
As part of our Engineering & Sustainment Services group, the Technician will thrive under pressure and excel in complex integration environments. You will be a vital part of our Test and Commissioning Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely solutions that impact the performance of critical naval platforms. This role offers unique opportunities for professional growth and requires individuals ready for challenging work both interstate and offshore.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.
Your skills and experience will include:
Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level. Information including past and present nationality and citizenship may be requested to check eligibility for access to materials controlled under various export control regimes, including ITAR.
