Job summary

PreStartGo is a small Australian startup seeking a versatile technical professional to own product knowledge across web app, mobile app and hardware. You will handle onboarding, installations, configurations, maintenance and training while supporting customers.

Day-to-day you’ll handle testing, QA, bug triage, docs, releases, and small dev tasks. You’ll work with AI tools daily and collaborate with Sales. Melbourne-based with some North American hours, full Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in technical support, QA, solutions engineering or development, ideally SaaS or connected hardware.
• Excellent people skills, calm and clear with non-technical customers; comfortable presenting on calls and demos.
• Strong documentation writer; will own customer docs and website.
• Comfort reading and debugging TypeScript and Dart; proficient with logs, SQL, REST APIs and stacktraces.
• Experience shipping apps via App Store Connect & Google Play Console.
• Daily hands-on with AI tools and defending against product outputs.

Responsibilities

• Product expert: onboard customers, guide installation/setup/maintenance; train users; troubleshoot app, connectivity and pairing; report hardware/software faults with logs.
• Sales bridge: join calls/demos as technical voice; scope pilots/integrations; respond to security questionnaires; support onboarding handoff.
• Docs and website: own installation/configuration/FAQs/release notes; keep product site up-to-date.
• Testing and QA: create test plans; perform regression/exploratory testing on real devices; CI end-to-end coverage.
• Releases: manage App Store Connect & Google Play Console; ship patches; coordinate OTA firmware rollouts and fleet health.
• Bug triage and small dev: reproduce, prioritize, fix small bugs; assist internal tooling in TypeScript/Dart.
• Compliance operations: maintain evidence for ISO 27001 / SOC 2 program.
