Job summary

Transport For NSW invites applications for a Technical Specialist Workers Compensation, based in Burwood, NSW. You will provide specialist workers compensation advice and training to support compliant claims management, and manage complex and litigated matters in collaboration with internal teams and external providers.

You'll also support audits, respond to legislative and SIRA changes, and help strengthen the claims management capability across the Injury & Health Solutions team.

Qualifications

In this role, you'll

Be working within the Injury & Health Solutions team, you’ll provide specialist workers compensation advice, guidance and training to support compliant and effective claims management.

You’ll manage complex and litigated matters, while working closely with internal teams, claims service providers and legal providers.

You’ll also support audits, respond to legislative and SIRA changes, and help strengthen claims management capability across the team.

About you

You have significant experience managing workers compensation claims, including complex and litigated matters, self-insurance portfolios and insurance premiums.

You bring a strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and SIRA requirements, with the ability to provide clear technical advice, mentor others and manage competing priorities. You’ll also have tertiary qualifications in a related field or relevant professional experience.
