Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services seeks a Technical Solutions Specialist for a telecommunications infrastructure provider. You will act as the technical bridge between access seekers, engineering partners, and internal network teams, driving end-to-end colocation and site sharing delivery.

This role involves reviewing design submissions and site packs, coordinating compliance across technical domains, and resolving RFIs with external agents and project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with passive or active wireless network infrastructure (macro towers, rooftops, small cells).
• Experience with DBORS or equivalent asset and inventory databases.
• Ability to manage complex technical conversations with carriers and internal teams to resolve RFIs.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist to join a telecommunications infrastructure provider. In this role, you will act as a pivotal technical bridge between access seekers, engineering partners, and internal network teams, driving end to end colocation and site sharing delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyse technical design submissions, site share application packs and Design & Construct (D&C) drawings from external access seekers to guarantee compliance with the client's engineering standards and Australian regulations.
• Coordinate and validate compliance across key technical domains.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact to resolve Requests for Information (RFIs), troubleshooting engineering, procedural, or spatial design bottlenecks alongside external engineering agents and MNO project teams.
• Drive cross-functional momentum between internal engineering, commercial deployment, external site acquisition agents, and co-locating clients to ensure seamless approvals and project momentum.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven background working with passive or active wireless network infrastructure (macro towers, monopoles, rooftops, small cells, or co-location site builds).
• Hands-on experience working with DBORS or equivalent telecommunications asset and inventory databases, combined with rigorous attention to detail in As Built documentation reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical conversations with external carriers, design consultants, and internal deployment teams to resolve RFIs and keep delivery schedules on track.
