Job summary

Aurion is seeking a highly motivated Technical Services Administrator to join our Cloud Services team in Australia. The role focuses on delivering second-level technical support and actively contributing to the Aurion Cloud, with a strong emphasis on AWS, Windows, Linux, and infrastructure as code.

Ideal candidates will have solid networking and security knowledge, the ability to work across remote and in-office environments, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer role or similar is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Server and Linux configurations is required.
• Sound understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Ability to operate in a distributed work environment, both remote and in-office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous AWS experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) is highly regarded.
• Consent and ability to obtain a baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support to customers using Aurion Cloud and On Premise solutions.
• Contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining the Aurion Cloud software.
• Improve deployment and maintenance of Aurion software and services.
• Ensure Aurion Cloud Platform and AWS resources are optimised for efficiency.

We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Services Administrator to join our Cloud Services team. In this role, you can expect to be constantly learning and adapting to new technologies to ensure we are providing outstanding support to our team and customers. The right candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while being able to collaborate with the team and also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support to customers who utilise both our Cloud and On Premise software solutions
• Actively contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining the Aurion Cloud software
• Continuously improve upon the deployment and maintenance of the Aurion software and associated services
• Ensure that the Aurion Cloud Platform and internal AWS accounts and resources are optimised for efficiency

Skills and experience

• Prior experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer role or similar is essential
• Demonstrated knowledge and previous administration experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems is required
• Sound understanding of networking and security concepts
• Effectively operate in a distributed workforce in both a remote and in-office setting using a variety of collaboration and communication platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working with AWS in an organisational environment is highly advantageous
• Experience with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform is highly regarded
• Consent and ability to obtain a baseline security clearance
