Northcott is seeking a full-time Security & Compliance Officer to coordinate governance, risk, compliance, assurance and improvement across internal teams and our MSP.

You will translate risks and regulatory obligations into a prioritised roadmap with clear owners, milestones and audit-ready evidence, serving as the primary contact for auditors and stakeholders. Flexible mix of office, community and remote work offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, control assurance and audit coordination.
• Ability to translate requirements into testable controls and evidence.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams, MSPs, auditors and vendors to deliver security outcomes.
• Knowledge of ASD Essential Eight and privacy, risk, and audit evidence.
• Strong documentation, prioritisation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate security audits and assurance with evidence validation and tracking.
• Maintain security policies, risk registers and governance reporting.
• Test controls across M365, identity, endpoints, data; remediate gaps.
• Manage incident response playbooks and post-incident reviews.
• Lead risk assessments for projects and suppliers.
