Job summary

Beakon seeks a Technical Product Owner / Agile Delivery Lead to bridge Product and Engineering, ensuring disciplined delivery and predictable sprints. You’ll facilitate ceremonies, refine backlog, and block delivery friction while partnering with a Product Manager on requirements and acceptance criteria.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential extension. The role requires strong Jira/Confluence setup, contractor delivery experience, and a track record turning chaotic environments

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Owner or Agile Delivery Lead roles.
• Proven ability to establish delivery structure in low-maturity environments.
• Experience working as a contractor on fixed-term projects.
• Strong capabilities in Jira/Confluence to track workflow and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Establish, facilitate, and enforce core Scrum ceremonies.
• Shift team to structured, predictable sprint commitments.
• Identify and unblock delivery risks before they impact the sprint.
• Document new ways of working and definitions of Ready/Done.
• Ingest requirements from Product Manager and translate into structured sprint backlog.
• Refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Maintain Jira hygiene and manage boards and dependencies.
• Balance delivery trade-offs to meet sprint commitments.
