vital.ly is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own internal platform capabilities powering warehouse operations, supplier tools and data flows. You’ll partner with Engineering, Design and Operations to translate complex workflows into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.
This hybrid Sydney role demands hands-on delivery from discovery to shipping, collaborating across teams to scale in a profitable growth business.
vital.ly is the infrastructure behind sustainable clinical practice.
Trusted by over 15,000 practitioners across Australia, vital.ly combines a technology platform, distribution infrastructure, and practitioner expertise to support how clinics prescribe, dispense, and manage complementary medicines.
Our customers include integrative GPs, naturopaths, nutritionists, herbalists, and other healthcare professionals working in the natural and integrative health industry.
Externally, the platform supports wholesale ordering for clinic dispensaries, advanced prescribing workflows with built-in clinical safety features, and digital prescriptions sent directly to patients for online fulfilment - all powered by Australia's most comprehensive complementary medicine reference tools.
Internally, the platform is the backbone of our distribution business, turning prescriptions into deliveries. It provides customised workflows and tools for practitioner access, patient data, inventory, orders and reference content, making this ecosystem uniquely powerful.
The vital.ly platform sits at the centre of our business, with product decisions directly impacting practitioner experience, operational scalability and commercial performance.
vital.ly has been operating for 12 years, generates significant revenue, is profitable and continues to deliver consistent double-digit year-on-year growth.
We have no external investors and do not rely on funding rounds - we grow from profit and reinvest directly into long-term innovation, technology and practitioner support.
With a clear 10-year vision and defined 3-year business roadmap, we're now scaling our product capability to deliver the next stage of growth.
The role reports to the Head of Product.

vital.ly is growing fast, and we've made a conscious choice to keep decision-making quick as we scale. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with end-to-end accountability for key product areas, from discovery through to shipped outcomes, and meaningful authority to make product decisions.
You are a technical product manager who wants to lead the development of platforms that power internal business operations. You can work fluently with Engineering on systems, integrations and data without needing to be the person writing the code;
You understand systems well enough to get into the detail. You can follow architecture and data flows, challenge assumptions, spot a fragile integration and test whether what has been built actually works;
You want to build on solid foundations while still having the opportunity to shape what comes next. The core infrastructure is in place, but there are new capabilities, workflows and integrations to build as vital.ly scales;
You like being close to the people using what you build. That could mean spending time on the warehouse floor, talking with suppliers or working directly with internal teams to understand how a system performs in the real world;
You care about outcomes people can actually see and measure, including operational reliability, adoption, supplier value and business impact. Shipping the feature is not the finish line;
You are comfortable making difficult trade-offs when different teams have competing needs. You can cut through the noise, make the call and explain why;
You have worked in a scaling business and know how to operate without the established processes and specialist support of a large enterprise. When the right product process does not exist, you can help build it;
You are hands-on across the full product cycle. You can move from discovery and prioritisation into detailed requirements, work closely with Design and Engineering through delivery, and stay with the product after launch;
You already use AI tools as part of your day-to-day work and are interested in where AI can create meaningful value in products and operations;
You want to remain a hands-on individual contributor, with meaningful decision-making authority and direct accountability for the outcomes of the product areas you lead.
vital.ly is the infrastructure behind sustainable clinical practice. Trusted by over 15,000 practitioners across Australia, vital.ly integrates three pillars of infrastructure - technology platform, distribution capability, and practitioner expertise - to transform how clinics prescribe and dispense complementary medicines.
