Job summary

Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead prototype engagements and deployment programs for new hardware technologies within AWS data centers in APAC. You’ll coordinate with networking, design, capacity planning, and vendor teams to meet aggressive timelines and ensure smooth production deployment.

The role emphasizes proactive communication with leadership, risk management, and delivering scalable, repeatable processes in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of brick and network deployment programs across all phases: staging, planning, cabling, build/morpheus, turn-up, and DCO handoff.
• Partner with networking engineers, design engineers, capacity planners, supply chain, and vendor teams to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver against timelines.
• Develop and maintain program schedules; identify risks, define path-to-green plans, and escalate appropriately to protect delivery commitments.
• Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership, communicating milestones and trade-offs.
• Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects, making informed trade-offs between time, scope, and cost.
• Identify and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements to streamline deployment workflows.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal partners on material delivery, cabling execution, and hardware installation.
• Define and track success metrics (SLA, dwell times, on-time delivery) and use data to drive priorities.
• Write project charters, deployment plans, and operational runbooks for repeatable execution.
• Support the introduction of new hardware technologies through prototype trials to production-ready plans.
