Job summary

Boral Cement seeks a Technical Manager to lead process engineering, automation, and reliability across Berrima and associated sites. Based in NSW, you will drive efficiency, product quality, energy performance and asset integrity while coordinating a small multi-site technical team.

You will translate plant data into actionable decisions, support RCM and capital projects, and partner with maintenance and quality teams to meet safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years in cement industry with process or production management.
• Experience leading multi-site technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Process/Industrial Engineering; postgrad advantageous.
• Experience with pyroprocessing, alternative fuels, and grinding circuits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse kiln and grinding station data daily to resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead process trials and evaluate cost, quality and emissions.
• Oversee mass and energy balance reviews and budgeting support.
• Direct Automation program across DCS/PLC platforms.
• Lead safety, quality, environmental and compliance initiatives.
