Job summary

Kinrise is a growing, privately owned Australian food manufacturer based in Dandenong South. We are seeking a Technical Line Lead to join our Snackfoods team, providing first-line technical support for designated production lines and partnering with maintenance, quality and production to minimize downtime and sustain output.

The role suits an experienced Technical Operator or Line Leader looking to grow leadership and technical capability in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Previous roles as Technical Operator, Leading Hand or Line Leader.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, support and influence operators.
• GMP, HACCP, safety and quality knowledge.
• Exposure to OEE, downtime reporting, Lean Manufacturing or CI.
• A hands-on operator who leads by example on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations to meet safety, quality and output targets.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting and technical support to minimise downtime.
• Assist with start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers and product transitions.
• Coach and support operators in equipment operation, SOPs, and best practices.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments, fault resets, inspections and cleaning.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety and quality standards.
• Promote safe work practices, hazard reporting and high housekeeping standards.
• Escalate equipment, quality or safety issues when required.

About the role. Location: Dandenong South Shift: Day shift We’re currently looking for a Technical Line Lead to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. This role provides first-line technical support across designated production lines, helping minimise downtime, improve performance, and support production continuity. You will work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to ensure equipment and processes consistently meet operational targets. This role is ideal for an experienced Technical Operator, Leading Hand, Line Leader looking to further develop their leadership and technical capability within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

About You

• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
• Previous experience as a Technical Operator, Leading Hand, Line Leader, or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, support, and influence operators.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, safety, and quality requirements.
• Exposure to OEE, downtime reporting, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement programs.
• A hands‑on operator who leads by example and thrives on the production floor.
