Kinrise is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our Kinrise - Snackfoods quality team. You will support product safety, quality, and compliance across the manufacturing site and partner with operations and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

You will inspect products, perform GMP audits, investigate complaints, and maintain quality records while upholding regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality management systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing non-conformances.

About the role. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving site food safety and quality standards, supporting production teams, driving compliance and fostering a strong food safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and promote food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the manufacturing site.
• Conduct product inspections, GMP audits, verification activities, and quality checks to ensure adherence to HACCP, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate customer and consumer complaints, non-conformances, and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain and review quality documentation, production records, specifications, HACCP plans, and compliance databases.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality performance.
• Assist with supplier quality management, including non-conformance reporting and performance improvement activities.
• Support new product introductions to ensure food safety, quality, and operational requirements are met.
• Deliver quality and food safety training and contribute to building a strong quality culture across the site.
• Participate in internal, external, and supplier audits, and support calibration, validation, and verification programs.
• Prepare quality reports, maintain accurate records, and provide ongoing support to the Quality Assurance Manager and wider business.

About You.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality management systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing non-conformances.
• Knowledge of GFSI standards and food manufacturing compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the business.
• Experience with SPC, continuous improvement, project management or change management will be highly regarded.
