Job summary

Givaudan is seeking a Technical Lead for Beverage, Sweet & Dairy in the Oceania region. You will lead a capable team, drive segment strategy with Marketing and Commercial leads, and partner with regional and global forums to advance innovation and lab capabilities.

You will balance bench work with people management, guide new product development, and manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets to support sales ambitions across Oceania.

Qualifications

• University degree in Food Science and Technology or related subject.
• Formal on-the-job training in food processing, design and formulation.
• Excellent sense of smell and taste and driven by innovation.
• Knowledge of general food & nutra applications and business.
• Commercial acumen, preferably in B2B and/or B2C.
• Computer skills and familiar with all major software used.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse Technical Beverage, Sweet & Dairy team to deliver priorities.
• Develop segment strategy with Marketing and Commercial Leads to drive technical solutions.
• Provide updates to senior management on technical activities and outcomes.
• Own budgeting for OPEX and CAPEX and ensure labs meet cutting-edge needs.
