Job summary

Emanate Technology is seeking a Technical Lead & Lead Architect in Canberra to drive a major national infrastructure modernisation program. You will shape end-to-end technical architecture, guide platform build and migration activities, and ensure secure, resilient hosting across OFFICIAL and PROTECTED domains.

Lead architects, engineers and vendors, oversee platform development, and govern migration sequencing and rollbacks.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in large-scale infrastructure modernisation programs.
• Strong architecture and detailed design capability across hosting platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, VMware migrations and enterprise Windows Server.
• Deep understanding of secure environments, privileged access and platform hardening.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Lead one of the most significant infrastructure modernisation programs in government. You’ll shape the end‑to‑end technical architecture, guide platform build and migration activities, and ensure secure, resilient and supportable hosting environments across OFFICIAL and PROTECTED domains.

What You’ll Do
