Based in Regional Northern New South Wales or Southern Queensland, the Technical Extension Specialist will work cross-functionally with sales, R&D, regulatory and marketing to lead field trials and drive adoption of FMC’s crop protection solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in crop protection R&D or agronomy.
• Strong knowledge of Australian agronomic practices.
• Exposure to Northern cropping broadacre systems is an advantage.
• Experience supporting product development and commercialization in agriculture.
• Skilled in trial design, execution and analysis.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute field trials and demonstration programs.
• Act as a technical contact for customers, scientists, and agronomy professionals.
• Provide technical training and support to FMC staff, customers, and partners.
• Develop technical content such as brochures, fact sheets, and articles.
• Support commercialization of new products and provide technical assistance for existing lines.
• Handle technical enquiries and complaints with timely resolution.
• Conduct trials to support label extensions and ensure safety/environmental standards.
