The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Technical Director from Systems Engineering & Integration to join a growing specialist team delivering complex rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading Systems Engineering and Integration activities on major projects
• Developing Systems Integration strategies, plans and roadmaps
• Providing technical leadership across integration, testing and commissioning
• Developing operational readiness frameworks and supporting trial operations
• Leading systems assurance, verification and validation activities
• Developing operational, maintenance and test conceptsSupporting project testing strategies, sequencing and commissioning priorities
• Working across multidisciplinary teams and supporting business development
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the wider team

The Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Significant experience delivering large, complex projects
• Demonstrated experience integrating complex systems from subsystem level through to end-to-end operational integration
• Strong understanding of systems assurance, safety, V&V, testing and commissioning
• Experience in rail systems integration is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CBTC and/or ETCS is highly advantageous
• Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management would be beneficial
