You will drive Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API-led integration, and modern DevOps practices, including architecture reviews, SDLC governance, and collaboration across delivery teams.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, security, and performance optimization to ensure scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to govern architecture, lead design reviews, and provide technical leadership.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Design Authority to lead application architecture, technical governance, and solution design for enterprise-scale platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API-led integration, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern application architecture, technical standards, and design principles.
• Lead architecture and technical design reviews, providing guidance to development teams.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive API-first integration strategies and RESTful service design.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Provide technical leadership across the full SDLC, from requirements through production deployment.
• Review code quality, application performance, scalability, and solution reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD best practices and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements and innovation opportunities.
• Support production issue analysis, root cause investigations, and strategic solutioning.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Expertise in REST APIs, system integration, and distributed application design.
• Experience with architecture governance, design reviews, and technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security, scalability, performance optimization, and enterprise design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or other event-driven architectures.
