Job summary

Coforge in Sydney seeks an experienced Technical Design Architect (Java & Microservices) to lead enterprise-scale architecture, governance, and solution design.

You will design scalable microservices with Java/Spring Boot, drive API-led integration, and guide DevOps practices across the SDLC, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure security and performance.

This permanent role requires 10+ years of hands-on architecture experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecture or related roles.
• Strong hands-on Java/Spring Boot and microservices experience.
• Experience with API-led integration and RESTful design.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern application architecture, technical standards, and design principles.
• Lead architecture and technical design reviews, guiding development teams.
• Design scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive API-first integration strategies and RESTful service design.
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Provide technical leadership across the full SDLC, from requirements to production.
• Review code quality, performance, and reliability of applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps to establish CI/CD best practices and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and suggest improvements and innovations.
• Support production issue analysis and root-cause investigations.
