Mura Connect Pty Ltd is partnering with a Queensland Government client to appoint a Technical Delivery Manager for a major data, analytics, reporting and AI transformation. Initial contract through Feb 2027, with potential extension into early 2028.

The role coordinates across architects, data and AI specialists, engineers and vendors on a modern Microsoft/Azure data platform, serving as the link between project delivery and business-as-usual tech teams. Hands-on delivery leadership is required.

MuraConnect is partnering with a Queensland Government client to identify a Technical Delivery Manager to support a major technology transformation program delivering new data, analytics, reporting and AI capability.

This is an initial contract through to February 2027, with the program extending to early 2028.

You’ll coordinate technical delivery across architects, data and AI specialists, engineers and vendors on a modern Microsoft/Azure data platform, acting as the key link between project delivery and business-as-usual technology teams. It’s a hands‑on delivery leadership role on a program with real funding, real timelines and high organisational visibility.

The Role

As the Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical delivery of a major data and intelligence project, including:

• Leading day-to-day technical delivery, work packages, dependencies, issues and risks
• Coordinating delivery across Solution Architects, Data & AI Architects, Data Analysts, engineers and vendors
• Translating architecture designs into executable work packages and implementation plans
• Managing delivery schedules, resourcing, milestones and critical path
• Overseeing testing, QA, deployment and transition to supportable, production-ready outcomes
• Reporting delivery progress, risks and recommendations to program governance

About You

To be successful, you will be an experienced technical delivery leader who has run delivery of enterprise data or analytics platforms end-to‑end, and who is equally comfortable talking to architects, engineers and senior stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated leadership of complex enterprise data, analytics, BI or data platform delivery
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical delivery teams (architects, analysts, engineers, vendors)
• Strong technical background across Microsoft/Azure technologies (Azure Data Services, Azure DevOps, Power BI)
• Solid understanding of Agile, hybrid and traditional delivery methodologies
• PMI, Agile or Prince2 certification (desirable)
