Job summary

Lime Recruitment is partnering with a Queensland Government client to recruit a Technical Delivery Manager for the Intelligence Technology Project. This contract role in Brisbane CBD requires leading technical delivery across data, analytics, and AI initiatives, coordinating architects, analysts, engineers, and vendors to ensure timely, quality outcomes.

Applicants should demonstrate experience in enterprise data initiatives, Azure-based architectures, and multiple delivery methodologies

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading delivery of complex enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, data warehouse, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Data Warehousing, Data Lakehouse architectures, and AI/Advanced Analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams (architects, developers, engineers, operational teams) and managing external vendor performance.
• In-depth understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall), software delivery lifecycles, release management, and service transition.
• Prior experience working within government, intelligence, regulatory, justice, law enforcement, or highly governed environments is highly regarded.
• Relevant certifications in Project Management (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile), Azure, Data Platforms, or IT Service Management are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day technical delivery of the Intelligence Technology Project, ensuring work packages, dependencies, risks, and deliverables (data, analytics, reporting, AI) are actively managed.
• Coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary teams, including Solution Architects, Data & AI Architects, Data Analysts, engineers, vendors, and operational support personnel.
• Translate project objectives and architecture designs into executable work packages, clear requirements, and actionable implementation plans.
• Manage technical delivery schedules, resource allocation, critical path activities, testing, deployment, and service transition to ensure operational readiness.
• Oversee external vendors and technical delivery partners to maintain delivery performance, quality outcomes, and adherence to technical standards.

Initial Contract to 26/02/27 (+ Planned Extension to 29/02/28) | Hybrid - Brisbane CBD

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Technical Delivery Manager. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this high-impact role will lead the day-to-day technical coordination and delivery of the Intelligence Technology Project to support the establishment of the Queensland Protection Commission (QPC).
